Media

The Vojvodinian Ruthenians have several printed and electronic media in their language, as well as web publications. The Ruthenian radio editorial staff exists sixty years and the Ruthenian television editorial staff exists thirty five years within the Public Service of Vojvodina. The Newspaper-Publishing Institution Ruske slovo (Новинско-видавательна установа Руске слово) exists more than sixty years, and in the places where the Ruthenians live there are editorial staffs of local electronic media. Around 80 our journalists work on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, i.e. Vojvodina at present. Most of them are employed in the TV Novi Sad, the Radio Novi Sad and in the NPI Ruske slovo, and the remaining journalists work in editorial boards of local media. Accorrding to the data of the National Council of the Rusyn National Minority the national community has the following public media:
